School Age

The School Age Program at Child's Play accommodates children ages 5 (Kindergarten) through 10 years of age.

Before and After School

Our developmentally appropriate before and after school program emphasizes socialization through small and large group activities indoors and out. Daily activities are planned for your child's enjoyment and enhancement. Activities include arts and crafts, group games, cooking, and more. If parents request, we will help your child with homework assignments.  

No School Days

On "no school" days, we offer full day care for your child. We often schedule field trips that are fun and safe for your child. Bowling, roller skating, Maywood, and the John Michael Kohler Art Center are a few examples of field trips our school-age children really enjoy. When the weather permits, our teachers also take this group to the Field of Dreams located a few blocks away for planned activities with their classmates.

Summer School Age Program

Our Summer School Age Program is based around weekly themes and packed full of fun and exciting activities! To foster creativity, there are arts and crafts galore. Kids try out their talents while cooking in the classroom. Small and large group games teach cooperation and team work. Special theme days and guests (ex. water day/scuba diver) add to the thrill of learning. Field trips give the children the opportunity to discover knowledge and information within the community. Children learn independence, gain self-confidence, make new friendships, and gain skills while having an awesome summer!
